I went shopping in Harajuku during the break. But I did not buy anything. also I had my birthday during the break. I went to Odaiba with friends on my birthday and It was very happy. It enhanced it very much though the winter break was short.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR
January 1st is Japanese New Year's Day.
There are manners of dusting it at the New Year of Japan. People eat special dishes called Osechi and rice cake soup called Zoni. I like this dishes very much.
We have a custom to send New Year's cards to relatives and friends. Many people think receiving greeting cards is one of the best pleasures of the holiday.
Children are given some money as New Year's gift. But I was not able to get it so much.
On New Year's Day people have their first visit of the year to a shrine or temple. As many as three million people visit places such as Meiji Shrine in Tokyo and Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine in Osaka. Businesses and government and municipal offices remain closed until the third of January. New Year is a time when families get together. Sons and daughters who have married and left home return to their ancestral homes with their children. Family groups making their first pilgrimage of the year to a shrine are a common sight throughout Japan at this time.
Moreover, when Japan becomes a New Year, we have a geat sale at any shopping places I shopped in the morning.

Diseny!
I went to Disneyland last week.
The vehicle was able also to get on a lot though there were a lot of people.
The light came to be improved to the castle when the night came and it was very beautiful.
The parade at other nights was fantastic and beautiful, too.
I was able to spend a happy day. I want to go to Diseny See next year.

Chines noodles
I visited a good Chinese noodle soup shop, which is in Tokyo some days ago.
The name of the shop is sweetfish ramen. The taste is refreshing and is very delicious.
There is a fish on the top, and the appearance of the shop is clean,
